Young Sheldon S05e11 Workprint May 2026
The official episode had aired two years ago. It was the one where Sheldon tries to fix Meemaw’s old cocoa butter machine and accidentally discovers a box of old letters from George Sr.’s estranged brother. It was fine. Light. Forgettable.
He remembered the real-life actress who played Mary, Zoe Perry, once saying in an interview: "There’s a version of Mary that’s very sad. We never got to shoot it. Maybe we did. I don’t remember." Everyone had laughed it off as a joke.
The next day, on the wiki, a user asked: "Hey, whatever happened to that S05E11 workprint?" young sheldon s05e11 workprint
Leo typed his reply slowly:
"Dad, why does the letter say you weren’t at Grandma’s funeral?" The official episode had aired two years ago
Leo was the admin of "The Cooper-Crawford Convergence," the most obsessive Young Sheldon fan wiki on the internet. He knew every deleted scene, every alternate take, every continuity error. So when a supposed "workprint" of the legendary missing episode—S05E11, "A Broken Cocoa Butter Dispenser and a Secret from the Shed" —surfaced, he was skeptical.
At 18:22, the episode did something the broadcast version never would. It showed the breakdown. Not graphically—this was still a family sitcom workprint—but in fragmented flashbacks. Mary, younger, sitting on a bathroom floor, clutching a bottle of pills. George Sr. kneeling beside her, not angry, but terrified. A tiny Sheldon off-camera, reciting prime numbers to himself as a coping mechanism. We never got to shoot it
Then, at 3:47, the first glitch happened.
