If there is one thing Young Sheldon does better than any other sitcom on television, it is blending the awkward genius of its prodigy protagonist with the genuine, blue-collar heart of East Texas. Season 3, Episode 7 — — is a masterclass in that balance.
This is where the episode shines. Watching Missy, Sheldon, and Georgie share close quarters is comedy gold. Missy steals Sheldon’s pillow. Georgie plays loud music. Sheldon tries to calculate the sleep efficiency loss. Meanwhile, Mary tries to convince George that this "family bonding" is a good thing, while George just wants to sit in his recliner and watch football.
