Earlier that day, in the extended cut not shown in the broadcast version, Sheldon had attempted to explain atomic orbitals to Vanessa, the quiet girl in his homeroom. She’d asked to borrow a pencil. He’d given her a No. 2 and a three-minute lecture on electron cloud models. She’d blinked twice, said “Thanks,” and returned the pencil at the end of the day without a single follow-up question.     I was an EMC test engineer (4 yrs.) and then an EMC design engineer for Cisco Systems in San Jose, CA for 18.5 yrs. and I retired in 2011. I now would like to come out of retirement and I think that I would like to work again in EMC testing. Do you have training that would allow me to apply for EMC testing positions? I am not affiliated with any company. Specifically, I am interested in the cost of any potential training for someone who is not affiliated with any company.
