“What Is Love?” delivers the bloody, ironic finale Season 3 built toward. Joe and Love’s toxic dance reaches its logical, devastating conclusion. The body count climbs, the glass box returns, and the episode brilliantly ties back to the series’ core question: can obsessive love ever be anything but destructive? Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti are electric — Pedretti, in particular, chews up every scene with unhinged brilliance. The final 10 minutes offer one of the show’s most satisfying (and darkly funny) twists, with Joe’s voiceover at its most delusional.
