“Jackie?”

The team eats in near-silence. Bear meat, tough and greasy. Laura Lee prays under her breath. Van laughs too loud at nothing. Shauna sits apart, jaw tight, staring at Jackie — who hasn’t touched her portion.

Misty pockets it, eyes narrowing.

No answer. She pushes inside.

Shauna stumbles back. The door slams shut. Outside, Misty’s silhouette passes the window, whistling. yellowjackets s01e06 vp3

Jackie turns her head slowly. Smiles — not her smile. Too wide.

“Que sera, sera…”

Misty Quigley crouches by the water, scrubbing blood from her hands. Behind her, the others are dragging the remains of the bear — the one Lottie “called” — toward the cabin. The air is cold but bright.
