Overview XEMU is an open-source, low-level emulator for the original Microsoft Xbox (2001). Unlike older emulators (such as CXBX or XQEMU) that focused on converting Xbox executables to native Windows code, XEMU prioritizes hardware-accurate emulation. It achieves this by emulating the actual NVIDIA NV2A GPU, the Intel Pentium III-derived CPU, and the system’s unique MCPX (Multichip Package) southbridge in software.
