The Mario brothers and Princess Peach decided to investigate further. They carefully made their way into the crack, finding themselves in a strange, winding tunnel. The air was thick with an eerie, electric energy, and the walls seemed to be crackling with power.

The Wonder Seed began to speak to them, its voice echoing in their minds. "I am the source of the crack," it said. "I have been dormant for centuries, waiting for the kingdom to need my power. The balance of the kingdom is shifting, and I have been awakened to restore it."

Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach were called to investigate the phenomenon. As they approached the crack, they could feel the air around them begin to distort and ripple. Suddenly, a group of Toads tumbled out of the crack, looking dazed and confused.

As they journeyed across the kingdom, they encountered other creatures who had been affected by the crack's power. There were Goombas with incredible strength, Koopa Troopas with the ability to fly, and even a giant, mutated Bullet Bill.
