Tap the (Search) in the top-right corner. Type in the gamertag of the person you blocked.

Within the Settings menu, you will see several categories (Notifications, Privacy & Online Safety, Storage, etc.). Tap on – it is usually the third or fourth option down.

Tap the (People) on the bottom menu of the Xbox App.

You will now see a list of every gamertag you have ever blocked. Scroll through the list or use the search bar (if available) to locate the specific player.

On the profile card, scroll down. You should now see an option that says (it replaces the "Block" button). Tap "Unblock" and confirm. Note: This method only works if the chat thread still exists. If you deleted the conversation, you must use Method 1. Method 3: Unblocking via the "People" Tab (For Friends You Blocked) If you accidentally blocked someone who was previously on your friends list, you can also unblock them by searching for their gamertag.

Next to their gamertag, you should see a button labeled or a trash can icon. Tap it. A confirmation pop-up will appear asking, "Are you sure you want to unblock this player?" Confirm by tapping "Yes" or "Unblock" again.
