Here’s a for the 38th episode of Hatim (the popular Indian fantasy TV series that aired on Star One). Hatim, accompanied by his loyal companions (Princess Zargam, the witty Djinn, and the loyal warrior Raka), arrives at a village at the edge of the Valley of Whispers. The villagers are terrified – their best hunters and healers have vanished after venturing onto the Bridge of Echoes. An old woman reveals the legend: “Centuries ago, Princess Anaya refused her sacred duty to guard the realm’s memory stone. Her lover died in her place. Now her regret has turned into a curse. Anyone who crosses the bridge is trapped in their own worst memory.”
