Factory - Reset Dahua Nvr

Navigate to Settings (Gear icon) > System > Default .

Dahua provides an official tool called (available on their download portal).

Select your NVR and click the "Forgot Password" or "Reset Password" icon.

This method clears settings but keeps your hard drive data intact. Navigate to Settings (Gear icon) > System > Default

If you cannot log in, software resets are impossible. You must open the chassis.

Right-click on the live view screen to open the Main Menu . Select your NVR and click the "Forgot Password"
