This guide will walk you through changing the main system icons, as well as individual shortcuts for programs and folders. These are the default desktop icons that come with Windows. To change them:

Click the Change Icon... button.

Browse through the default Windows icons, or click Browse to use your own .ico file. (Note: You cannot use JPEG or PNG images directly—they must be in .ico format. Use a free online converter to change your image to an icon file.) change icon desktop
