The truth unravels in flashbacks: Three years ago, Meera was a servant in this same mansion. She and Raghav were deeply in love. Vikram, jealous of their relationship and wanting the property for himself, drugged Raghav one night and pushed him down the stairs. But Meera witnessed it.
