He plugged the dongle into the front USB port. A soft blue LED blinked to life. Windows 7 chimed its familiar, optimistic ba-ding —the sound of hardware detected. sitting right next to the tower

A command prompt flashed. The blue LED blinked faster.
His heart jumped. He opened “Devices and Printers.” Clicked “Add a Bluetooth device.” The wizard spun for a moment… then showed nothing. Zero devices. His headphones, sitting right next to the tower, were invisible.
