If you weren’t there in 2014—armed with a homemade poster, a screaming voice you lost by the second song, and a friendship bracelet tied around your wrist—it is hard to explain the gravity of the Where We Are tour. But for those of us who lived it, hitting play on this film feels less like watching a movie and more like coming home. Released in 2014, Where We Are captures One Direction at their absolute commercial peak. This wasn't the innocent Up All Night era, nor the experimental Four phase yet. This was the sweet spot: the Midnight Memories era.
